A propos

Fundación Cibervoluntarios (Cybervolunteers Foundation) is a unique non-profit organization made up of social entrepreneurs. Our vision is to use new technologies as tools for social innovation and citizen empowerment, helping to bridge social gaps. We work to enhance the rights, opportunities, and capabilities of individuals within their communities by promoting the social use of accessible technological tools and applications.

To achieve this goal, the Foundation relies on our network of cybervolunteers. These are curious, proactive individuals who are eager to learn and share their passion for ICTs. They dedicate part of their time and expertise to teach others about the potential of technology tools and applications to improve their lives in simple and effective ways. Our volunteers engage through online and onsite courses, lectures, workshops, events, and more.

We focus on groups that may be excluded from the information society due to factors such as gender, age, professional or social environment, lack of time, knowledge, skills, motivation, or economic resources. Our work helps bridge these social gaps in areas such as employment, participation, and health, among others.

Over the past 14 years, Fundación Cibervoluntarios has made significant strides. Last year, we received recognition from the Prince and Princess of Asturias for "creating new forms of participation and social innovation to support groups at risk of exclusion." We are also proud to be one of 50 entities worldwide recognized for changing the world, with the distinction of being the first and only organization with this recognition in Spain.
