A propos

ASIA is an NGO based in Rome and working since 33 years in the Asian continent with development and emergency projects. In the last years we have been implementing projects also in Italy aimed at: fighting against educational poverty, promoting emotional education and children’s psychophysical well-being, promoting non-violent communication techniques, spreading the concept of diversity as a value and the values of empathy, interdependence and non-violence. Our actions are inspired by these universal principles (from the Himalayan traditions) since we believe that they can significantly contribute in providing answers to the complex global issues we face and to the growing needs of our communities. We work together with local associations, schools, universities, museums, etc. as direct involvement of local communities and horizontal cooperation are essential aspects of our work. We are looking for serious partners also in Europe, with whom we can share our goals, create impacting projects, positively influence and improve each ; A part from our long time experience in proposal writing and project managing both in Italy and abroad, we can ensure a straightforward, professional and serious cooperation.
