Social Impact Agenda per l'Italia
Social Impact Agenda per l’Italia (SIA) is an Italian network focused on impact investment and finance. Founded in 2013, during the UK Presidency of the G7, and to continue to build upon the experience of the Italian Advisory Board of the Social Impact Investment Task Force (SIIT), SIA’s main goal is to promote the development and spread of impact finance in Italy and abroad, proving that it is possible to create a sustainable economy with a positive environmental and social impact.
The Association therefore represents a platform for collecting ideas, suggestions and experimentation on new models of capital attraction and cooperation in impact investment.
Our mission
Social Impact Agenda per l’Italia promotes impact finance in Italy and across the world in order to offer innovative solutions to the environmental and social needs of people and communities. In pursuit of this goal, it commits itself to activities such as:
- NETWORKING
Favouring dialogue and cooperation among governments, financial institutions, companies, universities, research centres, third sector and local communities, and supporting the exchange of experiences on a national and international basis.
- DEVELOPING THE MARKET
Promoting a favourable ecosystem for the development of impact finance aimed at sustainable allocation of resources and diffusion of financial tools, with the objective of achieving measurable environmental and social results.
- ADVOCACY
Implementing activities promoting and developing public policies to put in practice models of inclusive and sustainable investment.
- RESEARCH
Supporting impact finance research, and identifying and analysing best practices and case studies to optimise the usage of such financing.
- COMMUNICATION
Dissemination and publicising best practices in impact finance, involving all relevant stakeholders for a generative economy with a positive social and environmental impact.
