We guide the institutions in the province to harmonize with the European Union acquis. In our province, we are making announcements of European Union grants and calls for proposals. We provide trainings on project writing. We prepare and present projects on important issues for the development of our city and coordinate the projects approved.
Between 2015-2017, we implemented a project to improve the infrastructure of tourism in our Province with the cooperation of Sakarya University. We produced a regional based guiding mobile app, a Travel guide book, aTourism Investment Guide book and a tourist Guide booklets with maps,4 Tourism information offices in mostly visted provinces of Sakarya and 6 information kiosks with our special application that guides the visitors called SATBİS, we also created a WEB site specially introducing our natural,cultural beauties and guiding visitors about where to stay and eat ;For the next two years with the grant provided by the regional development agency, we will work as a partner in 2 new projects to improve the infrastructure of tourism in our province , one is about constructing and preparing a caravan tourism park near LAKE SAPANCA and the other is creating orienteering sports tracksfor regional and international events in KOCAALİ and restoring an old mining tunnel and presenting it to visitors in the nearby area during the next 2 years. We also had several proffessional education programs for civil servants by using funds of our regional development agency"First Aid Certification Training" and" Photography Training"completed successfully.
We have good relations with the local authorities, NGO's and chambers of commerce and other directorates like the Provincial Directorate of National Education in SAKARYA.
