Arzuhan Koc-Buyuker, PhD.
I am post-doctoral researcher in Antibody Development and Production Laboratory in Medical Microbiology Dept. at Kocaeli University in Turkey. My mentor is Aynur Karadenizli, M.D., Professor, Chair of Basic Sciences Dept. in Kocaeli University Medical Faculty. She is still an active researcher in the field of re-emerging pathogens (Francisella tularensis, Brucella melitensis, EHEC etc.) in microbiology, Diagnostic Tests for Infectious Disease and antibody production. Our laboratory is competent in monoclonal antibody production (Immunization of the mice, fusion and hybridoma creation, screening and selection of antibody producing clones, culturing, maintenance, and storage of hybridoma clones) and characterization. Moreover, we conduct mRNA analysis (gene expression profiles by qRT-PCR) and ELISA routinely.
