I am a postdoctoral researcher who designs and builds virtual reality-based systems that manipulate perception to answer questions of how we perceive the world and what motivates our actions. My theoretical and experimental work provides the basis for innovative rehabilitation systems for dysfunctions of motor, language, and perceptual systems in the clinic and sheds light on the mechanisms underlying decision making in healthy and undiagnosed individuals. I'm inspired by current biomedical and industrial research in emerging technologies and, more importantly, the transfer of academic insights to industrial and public audiences to solve real-wold problems.
