A propos
Since its foundation, PEN Català has been a platform which projects writers and literature from the Catalan-speaking territories onto the international stage. This has been done through its active participation in the objectives of PEN International, namely in defence of freedom of expression and the struggle to free all persecuted writers.
We have 4 programmes: Translation, Linguistic Rights, Freedom of Expression and the Guest Writer programme
We have been partners in 1 Culture Programme (2012-2016) and we have been leaders in 2 Creative Europe projects: engagenow.eu (2017-2019) and bepartnow.eu (2020-2023).
We are interested in creative Europe Projects and Eramus programmes.

We have been leaders in 2 Creative Europe Projects in the last 4 years. Now we are considering building a new proposal on Literature and Women writers. But we are also looking for projects in which we could participate as partners.
