LBHF is a local authority in West London, providing services and information for residents, local businesses, and the local community. The authority serves a number of deprived communities, working across sectors, helping to provide synergies across all fields of actions concerning young people. We work with local businesses and third sector organisations (BBC Studios, The Arts + Entertainment Network, The Lyric Theatre, Imperial College, Royal College of Art and others) to find, train and support volunteers to work with young people at risk of failing. This work ties in with Government priorities to make sure that all young people have the opportunity and guides to make their way to the workplace. LBHF has considerable experience of leading successful EU projects, including ,Take Two Europe and Be Ready where they took the lead on a number of work streams, including supporting young people to make a film of their work[, evaluation and dissemination. The LBHF led  Erasmus+ Be Ready project was awarded 78% in its final report, and particularly commended for diligence in implementation and its impact which ‘exceeded ; The assessment commented that the project had developed ‘useful templates’, which we will make use of in this project.

We are currently partners on two EU projects, one around Virtual reality and ASD and the other working with families/primary schools. In addition, we work with Urbanwise, an environmental charity on the Mudlarks Project, raising awareness of waste and recycing with Primary schools.

We currently sit within the education section of the borough Children's Services department.
