I'm a Computer engineer, Full Professor at University of Bologna, Department of Electrical, Electronics and Information Engineering. My activities are related to Cyber Physical Systems, IoT, HPC and brain inspired computing. I'm currently involved in projects related to edge/IoT technologies for structural health monitoring, smart energy, and environmental monitoring. My group is interested in calls about: i) applications of IoT/CPS to smart villages, cities, infrastructure and energy related to edge/IoT applications, and ii) calls about alternative brain inspired computing technologies. Our expertise are: i) Low-power edge computing; ii) IoT platforms for smart-X applications; iii) brain-inspired computing; iv) Compilers technologies.
