Mercy Hands Europe operates as the European branch of Mercy Hands for Humanitarian Aid in Iraq. As one of the leading NGOs in Iraq, Mercy Hands implemented successfully over 150 projects in partnerships with UN agencies and NGOs since 2004.

Mercy Hands Europe implements projects in the sectors of protection, education & lifelong learning and livelihoods & economic inclusion in disaster and crisis affected areas. Furthermore, MHEurope supports the humanitarian activities of its sister organizations, particularly Mercy Hands for Humanitarian Aid in Iraq (MH) in emergency response.

Through our strong presence across Iraq Mercy Hands has well-established networks with relevant stakeholders such as municipalities and state authorities as well as trusted relationships with local communities, IDPs, refugees, returnees and host populations.
