Dr. Atef Mohamed Khedr Nassar is an Associate Professor of Pesticide Chemistry and Toxicology, Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Damanhour University, Egypt. He finished his and studies at Alexandria University, Egypt and the at McGill University, Canada. He is involved in studying the adverse effects of pesticides on humans and non-target organisms. Besides, he is trying to find new alternatives to pesticides including nano-formulations of currently used pesticides and natural products to minimize the quantity of pesticides applied to the environment. He published many research articles in peer-reviewed and highly impacted scientific journals in the field of pest management, pesticides residue analysis, and pesticides toxicology
