The Academy for International Development (AID) is an organisation working for decades in the field of Socio-Economic, Socio-Political, and Governance and Democratization in the Middle East and North Africa ;
AID was originally established and registered in 2006 in Egypt, and then it was registered in the Kingdom of Hashemite of Jordan as a MENA Regional ;In 2009, AID established its daughter organization, National Development Foundation, registered as a non-profit organisation in Egypt. In early 2016, AID becomes the founding organization of the International Development Foundation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo and then in 2018, AID expanded its presence and became the founder of AID-Turk in Turkey. Moreover, AID has several branch offices registered in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, and Yemen, also has projects in Syria, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Libya. Additionally, AID has its own Women Policy Centers that are located in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, and Yemen.
