The aim of the project is to propose practical measures for Latvian and Lithuanian environmental authorities for harmonization of assessment of water bodies’ quality as well as status and management of chemical pollution risk in the cross border region.The main attention is paid to “hot spots” affecting Venta River territories near the border and carrying water to the Baltic Sea.
