My name is Zoran Mitrović, and I’m passionate about driving sustainable change through well-managed projects and innovative solutions. I founded Zoran Mitrović Consulting with a clear mission: to bring expertise in European integration, program and grant coordination, and project management to initiatives that truly make a difference. Every project I lead is grounded in thoughtful planning, precise timelines, and carefully managed budgets—principles that are not just best practices for me but also the heart of my work.
I believe that solid project management begins with a deep understanding of what the project intends to achieve. Whether I’m coordinating youth exchanges or developing environmental programs, I take pride in crafting detailed roadmaps that guide each step. This structured approach has been key in successfully managing projects ranging from Youth Exchanges in various EU cities to Erasmus+ initiatives and EU-funded environmental campaigns. For me, it’s all about connecting the dots—ensuring that every effort, every meeting, and every strategic decision contributes to a more sustainable future.
My background, from earning a Master’s in Environmental Protection to co-founding one of the first NGOs dedicated to EU projects, has shaped the way I work. I combine academic insights with hands-on experience, ensuring that each project is not only successful in the short term but also has a lasting positive impact. Leading by example, I've cultivated an environment where collaboration and communication are the cornerstones. I always keep the lines open with my team, stakeholders, and partner organizations, which helps me adapt and overcome challenges.
In every aspect of my work, I’m driven by the desire to foster genuine, positive change—be it through consulting, coordinating grant applications, or mentoring the next generation in environmental stewardship. I see each project as a chance to learn, innovate, and transform ideas into tangible outcomes that benefit communities and the environment alike.
