Dr. Ećim-Đurić is an associate professor at the Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade, an engineer with over 25 years of experience in the energy sector. Her fields of research are thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, renewable energy sources, buildings energy efficiency and environmental protection. She is the head of the Laboratory for Thermodynamics and Thermotechnics. She gained extensive experience in monitoring and modeling work in the field of heat and mass transfer and buildings energy efficiency, which led to the publication of more than 60 articles in journals and conferences. During her work she has attended in 1998 at the 7th International Solar Energy Workshop”in Lanzhou, China, in 2003 at the International Cooperation and Sustainable Development of Agricultural, Environmental and Rural Systems, Cervia, Italy and in 2004, ANSYS-FLUENT Training Workshop, training of CFD software packages use, Thessaloniki, Greece. She has extensive experience in engineering software (thermal modeling, hydrothermal modeling, CFD) as well as engineering equipment (flow measurement in ventilation, monitoring of environmental parameters). Dr. Ećim-Đurić significantly contributed to the realization of 10 Government projects. She was a participant in 8 projects in energy sector. These projects were supported by the Ministry of Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia and were aimed at improving the energy efficiency of buildings and renewable energy sources. Dr. Ećim-Đurić is interested in low-energy buildings in the residential and business sector, as well as in the implementation of renewable energy sources in construction, and especially in agriculture. He is a reviewer of several leading international journals: Energy & Buildings, Energy, Energy Conversation and Management, Biomass and Bioenergy. As part of the ERASMUS + program, she was a lecturer at the Universite Catholique in Lille, France, at 2019. She participated as a lecture at the course "Creating professional certification courses for industry in the fruit sector and vegetables ", organized by USAID's Competitive Economy Project, in cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade and UC Davis Postharvest Technology Center, USA and AgroNET - Center for Education and Research,. She was a member of the scientific committees of several international and national conferences in the field of agricultural technology. He is a member of the editorial board of the journal Agricultural Engineering. She is a board member of the International Building Performance Simulation Association - Danube Affiliate.She is an independent expert for the European Executive Agency for Climate, Infrastructure and the Environment (CINEA).
