When I Shop (WIS) is a brand and product discovery platform built on continuous customer engagement. It reshapes the way market participants inter-connect to help direct-to-consumer brands remove friction and lower the cost of participation in the marketplace.
The project is highly commercial, disruptive, and designed to operate efficiently in a worldwide market worth more than $4 trillion in 2020.
WIS operates on three primary streams:
- Brand & Product Discovery
- Product Selection
- Product Purchase
Brand & Product Discovery
WIS uses Affinity Groups and User-Generated Content Channels to guide Brand and Product Discovery.
Affinity Groups are communities of interest that the platform creates based on customer feedback. Through the use of community detection algorithms, the platform identifies brands and products with the highest level of interest within the group and present them to customers.
User-Generated Content is linked direct-to-product allowing users to enjoy product discovery enriched with personalized content, unique to WIS.
Product Selection
WIS uses Product Evaluation Indexes to guide users with product selection.
PEIs give users streamlined data evaluations of products based on real user feedback. Users can optimize their product selection based on fit-for-purpose, usability and durability metrics.
Product Purchase
WIS allows customers to buy products from different brands in one convenient place. Transactions are managed by WIS. Shipment and customer service is managed by the brand. WIS holds no inventory.
