Romodrom is a large, Czechia-based NGO dedicated to advancing the rights of the Roma and other at risk communities. Each year, we offer social services to thousands of people facing the threat of social exclusion in Czechia and abroad. Our clients from all over the Czech Republic benefit from expert assistance in the areas of education, housing, employment or finances.
We work to directly improve our client´s quality of life, while also strive to empower them and boost their self-reliance. Lately, our focus has included social innovations, awareness rising and advocacy. We engage in all key local professional and civic platforms and partake in the creation of local, regional and national strategies and policy documents aiming at bettering the situation of Roma in Czechia.
Finally, Romodrom has extended its mission beyond Czechia's borders. Since the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine, we have emerged as a leading force in aiding both Ukrainian and Roma refugees within Czechia and providing comprehensive humanitarian relief and support in Ukraine.
We are very much looking to build meaningful cross-border partnerships to improve our services through learning, to share our good practice and to amplify the voice of the disadvantaged in Europe.
