A propos

NOA is a microfinance institution focused on impact investment. We have a loan portfolio of appx. 50 million euros, close to 260 employees and more than 12.000 active clients with their vast majority (>80%) representing self-employed individuals, small family businesses and farmers. Our core mission is to support job creation, access to finance and the income increase of Albanian families.

 In order to be as close as possible to people in need, increase social impact and overall wellbeing, recently NOA has taken an initiative to establish „NOA Fondation“ whose objective will be:

  • To serve as a bridge to boost partnerships with key public, local & international actors in the microfinance field;
  • To serve as an amplifier and as an impact driven institution for job-creation, youth & women entrepreneurial empowerment, the promotion of a start-up culture etc.
  • To serve as a processor for the conceptualisation, promotion and provision of new advisory service to clients of the microfinance sector
  • To serve as a catalyst in creating of a new values for collaborations and information exchanges with a focus on increasing the well being of Albanian families
  • To serve as a catalyst in rising awareness in urban and rural communities on the history and mission of microfinance
  • To serve as a platform for the promotion of high quality, deepest and complementary cooperation between private actors in Albania.
  • To serve as an active promotor in national and international networks that have a similar focus
