Our local government was founded in 1996 and registered as a public law body in 2005. We strive to offer quality public services while fostering civic participation in decisions affecting the community. We are determined to create and maintain partnerships that enriches the life and culture of our community. As we are walking towards an European future we would like to increase contacts, exchange experiences and create networks of collaboration to introduce European values to our community and blend them with local culture. We are currently involved in programs Europe for Citizens, H2020 and Erasmus+.
We have 15 projects funded by foreign donors and a vast collaboration network with national, regional and international Municipalities, NGOs, Institutions and Agencies.
