I am Khalid DURI, CEO and co-founder of African Bamboo, a company with the vision to capitalize on bamboo-based materials that outperform traditional materials on physical, environmental and economic aspects. The transition from concrete, steel and plastics to bio-based materials has three main challenges: cost, strength, and safety. These challenges are met by African Bamboo’s innovation hub in Delft where advanced bio-based materials and key enabling manufacturing technologies are developed with renowned international partners. We are interested calls related to advanced materials, advanced manufacturing technology, building materials, fiber based products. We are based in Netheralds in the campus of TU ;
