A propos

Insieme per Camminare, is an organization  composed by experts in tourism, fine arts and cultural heritage, digital tools, web marketing, youth and adult education, with relevant experience in the Erasmus plus field, CERV, Horizon and Creative Europe.

The aim of IpC is to promote the cultural and touristic development through the creation of real opportunities for educational and professional development in an international environment using various models and opportunities.  

ACTIVITIES

IpC manages the “Museo Diocesano e del Codex” where is guarded the “Codex Purpureus Rossanensis” the oldest illuminated evangeliary in the world included by the UNESCO in the “memory of the world” list in 2015.

For its educational activities, publications in various languages and collaborations with the territory, the Museum managed by IpC received a special mention from the jury of the “ICOM Italy Award - Museum of the Year 2017”, ranking among the 10 finalist’s museum nationwide.

Thanks to its licensed tour guides, IpC also runs guided tours throughout the Calabria region; it manages the 4 touristic infopoint located in Corigliano – Rossano and takes part to all the most important international tourism trade fares (Fitur/Madrid, MITT/Moscow, IFTM/Paris, ITB/Berlin, WTM/London, HW/Prague,  BIT/Milan, BMT/Naples, TTG/Rimini)  also on behalf of the Municipality of Corigliano – Rossano and in collaboration with the Tourism Department of Calabria Region. 

- During the all year, IpC regularly  runs the following courses: “Hospitality and Tourism promotion” addressed to staff of local accommodation facilities,  “Digital Photography and cultural heritage”, “ Iconography and Byzantine art”, “Event organizer and local marketing”, “ English at the Museum”;  “Rigenera”,  a course for restoration and maintenance workshops of artworks;  “Chiese Aperte” (open churches), a course for voluntary custodians of churches and cultural sites of public interest in the city and nearby municipalities;

Since 2016 IPC hosts regularly Erasmus students for VET and Traineeships.

Presentation of books, concerts and conferences are practically a constant that accompanies the activity of IpC within the museum .

IpC is also supported by a large group of active volunteers of different age, educational background and professional experience that regularly offer their contribute to the managing of events and the surveillance of some cultural sites in the Municipality.
