Dr. Alex Papadimitriou is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Information Technologies Institute (CERTH/ITI) and an IT expert. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from University of Sussex (UK), an MSc in Distributed Systems (University of Brighton, Brighton, UK) and a PhD in Informatics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has worked as a developer and IT administrator and has a very good knowledge of a very wide IT toolbox including Java, (X)HTML, XML, PHP, C/C++/C#, Visual Studio, MS Project, UML, For the past 5 years he has also been actively involved in European projects executed under the FP7 and Horizon 2020 frameworks in a variety of roles, such as project manager, developer and researcher.
