I am a graduate of the School of Civil Engineering of NTUA, 1969. She has received a DIC in Public Health Engineering from Imperial College, London in 1973 and a PhD from Strathclyde University Glasgow, in 1977. She has been a member of academic staff of the School of Civil Engineering NTUA from 1981 to 2012, when she retired. She received the title of Emeritus Professor in 2014. She specializes in the treatment of wastewater and sludge, management of water quality and contaminated sediments of surface waters and environmental pollution assessment. She is the author of more than 120 scientific papers and the supervisor of 10 PhD theses.
