My name is Nikos Gavalas and i collaborate with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and The University of West Attica, in Athens too. I am also a founding and board member of a non-for profit company called EDRASE ().

I am interested in forming partnerships, building consortia for applying for funding and thus performing and promoting relevant work of interest. I am also interested in forming any other types of partnerships that bring together academia, for profit and non-for-profit companies. These will allow for relevant ecosystems to be formed that will allow for intuitive collabrations, productive work and produce of for profit products of any type or academic and knowledge promoting outputs.

I am interested in:

EU HORIZON- EU PROJECTS AND GRANTS OUTSIDE HORIZON e.g. ERASMUS+ and INTERREG, WORLD-WIDE COLLABORATIONS, INDUSTRY-ACADEMIA RESEARCH WORK, INDUSTRY-ACADEMIA RESEARCH WORK, PURE ACADEMIC WORK AIMING ON HIGH QUALITY RESEARCH PUTPUTS.

Themes of interest include:

1) BioScience- Biobased projects including Biotechnlogy, Basic Bio Research, Clinical Research (Oncology, AutoImmunity, Basic DNA and protein work on molecule function)

2) Projects on Social Policy, Health, Social Welfare, Social Security and Family Policy, Poverty and Social Exclusion, Long-Term Care Health Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance in Health and Social Care Services and other suggested areas of Health Related research.

3) Education collaboration projects as for example those that relate to ERASMUS+ programmes e.g. for partnerships between organizations like EDRASE.

EDRASE has collaborated in a number of projects, mainly in ERASMUS+, and we are seeking to expand our network and joining projects not just in ERASMUS+ but also in HORIZON and INTERREG (PIC number will be provided)

The University of West Attica is interested in Projects on Social Policy, Health, Social Welfare, Social Security and Family Policy, Poverty and Social Exclusion, Long-Term Care Health Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance in Health and Social Care Services and other suggested areas of Health Related research.

Finally i have a personal interest in the BioScience research area, through the Ubiversity of Athens (Kapodistrian University) and are interested in research collaboration, funded research, forming consortia and startups.

Any funding calls our in our interest and we try to follow as many as we can.

We have cooperated with a nuber of organizations, we have a better experience with EDRASE but we are new to forming consortia as regards the University of West Attica which is of great interest to us.
