ABD develops projects in the field of social inclusion since its beginning. ABD was founded as an organization in the field of drug use and based on this experience it develops projects and programs to tackle social vulnerability or exclusion. The strategies are based on prevention, care and information; all aiming to achieve social inclusion, integration and non-discrimination.
Our mission is to manage and coordinate processes focused on empowering people while enhancing their autonomy. Through different consolidated programs and projects both nationally and internationally, we give support to people throughout their lives: preventing them from socially vulnerable situations, assisting with their needs, getting the community involved and promoting a socially cohesive society.
ABD is developing more than 183 national and international programs, assisting more than 171,882 people annually. ABD relies on an interdisciplinary team of more than 1,952 professionals specializing in different intervention areas and 652 volunteers, annually trained through the volunteer school.
At a European level, ABD has consolidated its role as a leading partner entity within the system of European Consortia, working in partnership with entities, administrations and companies from other countries.
