ABD is a government recognized Spanish non-profit public service organization that started its journey in the 1980s. ABD is developing more than 137 national and international programmes, assisting more than 156,882 people annually. ABD relies on an interdisciplinary team of more than 1,686 professionals specializing in different intervention areas and 500 volunteers, annually trained through the volunteer school.
ABD is structured in five main intervention areas: Drug Addiction; Poverty and Inclusion; Childhood, family and gender equality; Promotion of personal autonomy and dignified ageing; Intellectual disabilities.
