This is an application for two English language courses of a duration of two weeks each, during the summer holidays of 2014 and 2015. Aim of application: Professionalization of teachers and kindergarten teachers, improving linguistic competences (English course at 2 different levels) in order to motivate the participants and foster the cooperation with foreign institutions in the field of kindergarten teaching. Exchange of experiences with teachers from other countries, especially with regard to teaching methods, standards, comparison of teaching aims and anticipated competences. Visiting similar institutions could foster exchange based on personal experiences with teachers and kindergarten teachers, international comparison of vocational training for kindergarten teachers. The experience gained abroad will make the school in the home country more international and modern and will provide valuable inputs for our focus on intercultural competence. Selction of participants: teachers who are willing to cooperate and work together with foreign institutions but who have previously failed because of insufficient knowledge of the foreign language General project aim: a long lasting school partnership and student exchange with other EU-countries, exchange of experiences, learning and teaching methods, cultural exchange, encouragement to use foreign languages in future professional fields, practice week and observing foreign institutions, supporting mobility and internationalisation together with our own educational focus (kindergarten and intercultural competence) increasing future work opportunities for our pupils.
