Since 1995 the vocational schools, Berufskolleg Viersen in Germany and Gymnasium Västervik in Sweden run a student exchange program focussing on electrician trainees. Mostly about 10 trainees take part in one exchange program which lasts for about two or three weeks. Up to now more than 200 trainees took part in the program in both countries.
