Considering the peculiarities of educational system of Latvia and its excessively academic and theoretical level, one of the project objectives is to give students the possibility to acquaint themselves with a different model of education and to take part in the study process of a vocational school in another country. And another objective is to compare their theoretical knowledge with the practical situation, thus furnishing the students with opportunity to improve their comprehensive skills by acquiring new experience in the study and its complex elements. Västerviks Gymnasium (Sweden), Lycee des Metiers Chevrollier (France) un Yenimahalle Directorate of National Education (Turkey) will participate in the project as a co-partners. They have also confirmed their willingness to host the students and staff from Riga Trade Vocational Secondary School (RTVSS). Materials acquired during the project realization will be used for improvement of the study process and introduction of innovative solutions in RTVSS, as well as sharing it with other vocational establishments, their students and others through publishing the project information in the homepage of RTVSS. The project will provide students with a possibility to learn about situation in another country of European free market thus furnishing students with knowledge that after graduating from RTVSS will make them more competitive in the job market both in Latvia and other countries of European Union. Participants: 10 students, 8 staff and 1 accompanying person from RTVSS. Realization is divided into three stages: preparatory, procedure and assessment stage.
