I'm currently a PhD candidate in Urban Planning at the Department of Architecture, University of Palermo, Italy.
My PhD research project addresses the EU urban policies at the margins of Europe, in particular how the urban agenda of the EU has been influencing local governance practices, planning innovation and urbban regeneration at the city of Porto.
In 2019 I carried out a period as visiting researcher at the CITTA – Centre for Research on Territory, Transports and Environment of the University of Porto, where I had the opportunity to establish a close contact with such issues.
I hold a MSc. in Civil Engineering (urban planing and transportation) by NOVA School of Science and Technology, Lisbon (Portugal), and I'm currently looking for new opportunities where I can keep learning!
