Dr. Yesilata is a professor and a senior researcher on renewable energy use, particularly on solar energy technologies. His general professional experience in mechanical engineering related sectors is nearly 30 years; more than 18 years of which is on solar energy systems, mostly on photovoltaic (PV) powered applications and solar heating-cooling. His research interests include also energy efficiency measures for buildings and industry. He has about 7 years of international experience in USA, dealing with strong academic and research activities, including his PhD and postdoctoral education.
