The Youth Entrepreneurship and Tourism for Social Development (YESTD) believes in equipping, enabling and inspiring young change makers to make social enterprise idea a reality. Through the YESTD programs, we nurture a network of social entrepreneurs, where the power of ideas, know-how and resources can be harnessed to enrich lives and bring about positive change. The YESTD is put together to intend for allowing participants to learn from and interact with leading social entrepreneurs, business professionals and other youth who are quite curious to social innovation, while expanding their network of contacts for collaborations and partnerships.

We connect young people to secure meaningful employment; enable them to create sustainable employment for themselves and their community; and enhance the youth entrepreneurship and their creativity to be more responsive to their needs. Investing in young people to acquire market-relevant skills, and develop their business and leadership abilities for meaningful employment. “Opportunities for Youth Employment teaches us that we are not too young to build ; Creating and inspiring opportunities in partnership with young people and local agencies, through our integrated four-part approach. We have a dedicated, on-the-ground team encompassing expertise in youth employment, enterprise and leadership.

We are looking for young change makers with great ideas and looking to develop their social enterprises. We are interested to know more about our social enterprise idea. We highly encourage youth change makers to build a social enterprise so that the other entrepreneurs can support us as we grow our social enterprise. Throughout the long periods of time, the young change makers will participate to make them available for product services for enabling them and improving on their entrepreneurship.

Tourism, a vibrant and fastest growing industry, contributes a huge amount of revenues to a considerable extent, creating value on more jobs, as well as a balance of payments from economic context. It also plays a crucial role to alleviate poverty. Thus, more attention has been directed to the issue of tourism both by advanced and emerging economies. Similarly, the international exchange and recognition of youth travel gains a remarkable attention for social advancements. Local community level helps to understand and find way to achieve this goal is to stimulate local youth's participation in sustainable tourism development.

In this respect, YESTD is planned to be a broad knowledge based and activity oriented leadership, entrepreneurship, good governance and democracy youth training program in Nepal and SAARC at large. YESTD intends to bring together in school youths to deepen their leadership, entrepreneurship and democracy knowledge and foster active youth participation in good governance processes and democracy building within the region.
