Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution was established in 2002 in Panevėžys, Lithuania, to carry out higher education studies based on scientific knowledge and practical skills, providing students with modern competencies that have added value in the smart society. The Institution is recognized as the leader in entrepreneurship development, strengthening the mobilization of society and contributing to the further economic development of the region by creating strong synergies between studies, business, and science.
Being a comprehensive multidisciplinary higher education institution, Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution offers studies in 3 faculties: the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences, the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Technology in such fields of study as Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering Sciences, IT Sciences, Business and Public Management Sciences, Law, Educational Sciences and awards a Professional Bachelor’s degree.
Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution has a long-standing culture of cooperation and collaboration with local businesses, which helps identify the workforce's changing requirements and develop courses tailored to the continually evolving demands of the labor market.
Participation in international projects (ERASMUS+ KA2, KA3, Nordplus Horizontal) further strengthens the capacity of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution to foster innovation through cooperation and the flow of knowledge in higher education. We implemented projects in the fields of Development of Interactive and Animated Drawing Teaching Tools, PowerUp MyHouse - Development of innovative learning and practice modules to increase the usage of renewable energies for sustainable buildings, Three-level Centers of Professional Excellence: Qualification, Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Green Economy and are looking to being a partner in various other projects.
