REIC (REGIONAL EDUCATION AND INFORMATION CENTER FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN SOUTH-EAST EUROPE) is non-profit, non-governmental organisation founded in 2005. Located in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina lunched as integral part of the regional training project scheme (EESD – Environmental Education for sustainable development) for the Adriatic-Ionian basin.
REIC is set up as a nucleus for environmental education and the regional integration practices. Main objective is to identify environmental problems and needs, along with enhancement of educational initiatives. REIC is situated in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) but its operational span covers region of Southeast Europe – SEE (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia) in cooperation with international networks.
