Dr. Galip KARTAL is a full-time associate professor at the ELT program of NEU. He holds an MA and a Ph.D in English Language Teaching. He gives an MA level educational technology in language teaching course. His research interest mainly covers the design and applications of innovative language learning & teaching techniques. He has published several articles on the use of technology and language teaching. Therefore, he will contribute to the development of an e-learning platform. Currently, he is the coordinator of two Erasmus+ projects and researcher of one Erasmus+ project. The PhD dissertation of Dr Galip KArtal is “The effects of a virtual world on the willingness to communicate, motivation, and anxiety of the student teachers of English.” His publications are available at
