The DCFENETWORK, INC., is a non-for-profit and nongovernmental Organization established in May 3, 2018 to advocate for children and female with different form of disabilities against all forms of discrimination and segregation practices in Liberia, and front for their empowerment in society.

The organization is fully registered under the Laws of the Republic of Liberia, and it is open to working with the governments, communities, civil society organization, Disabled Person Organizations (DPOs), NGOs, UN Agencies, the private sector, and other partners worldwide to advance the rights of children and women with disabilities; to provide sustainable development programs including life-skills to physically challenge and visually impaired females, 13-35, as well as exploring avenues that would make children with disabilities live freely and comfortably.

The organization is guided by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nation Convention on the Rights of Person with Disabilities (UNCRPD), United Nation Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), and the Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), and the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACRWC).

Our vision is that avenue will be created so that children and female with disabilities can live freely and comfortably without discrimination and segregation practices in Liberia

The DCFENETWORK, INC. has four main activities; and they are as follows:

1. Disabled Endowment Program

 Disabled Endowment Program was launched in 2018 at the Liberia School for the Blind, under the DEP, we advocate, seek and raise funds to provide mobility aids, visual aids, hearing aids and educational aids (including assistive devices) for distribution amongst disabled children and female; to construct and rehabilitate schools, clinics, hand-pumps and latrines for the benefits of persons (children and female) with disabilities also, to provide life-skills to physically challenge and visually impaired young women.

Exchange Forum

The Disabled Exchange Forum (DEF) was launched in 2019 at the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Under the DEF, give person (children and female) with disabilities are given the opportunities to interact with disabled children and female across Liberia, advocate against discrimination, confronting for disabilities inclusion in all of government plans and policies and to also listen to successful motivational and inspirational disabilities speakers.

3. Capacity Enhancement Program

Under the capacity enhancement program, we build the capacity of disabled person organizations (DPOs), person with disabilities  (PWDs) Civil society organizations  (CSOs), and individuals in a sustainable ways, to improve their competence and problem solving knowledge/skills.

4. Disabilities Free Day Celebration

Disabilities Free Day Celebration is a national celebration, a social gathering or enjoyable activities were persons (children and female) with disabilities play the games you love.

On this day we recognized those that are vigorously contributing to the disabled ;

Project Implementing:

1. Assessment on disabilities inclusion; case study on children and female with disabilities in Grand Cape Mount, Bomi, Grand Bassa, and Montserrado County 

2. Awareness Campaign on the adaption of the National Curriculum of the Ministry of Education in braille
