Deák 17 Gallery is a non profit art gallery for children and young people at Budapest in Hungary.
The aim of the Deák17 Youth Art Gallery is to introduce contemporary art to children and youths. We would like to broaden their knowledge in the field of visual culture and to provide them with opportunity to sharpen their visual skills. The Gallery, which is also a public space and an art education center, shows permanent and temporary exhibitions and provides space for professional dialogue in the form of workshops and other educational activities.
Our mission is also to present the art- and talent- supporting activities of the Capital of Budapest both domestically and internationally. We promote dialogue between different generations and social groups. We would like to draw young people’s attention to important social and environmental issues.
