Co2gether () is a Social Enterprise/ HUB established in Patras in 2021 and is active in the fields of social innovation, solidarity, social cohesion, health and well-being. Its aim is to encourage socially impactful entrepreneurship, promote Corporate Social Responsibly , empower and build the capacity of formal and informal caregivers, NGOs and NPOs based in Greece, and support people in need (i.e. vulnerable, lonely, in remote areas) towards a more inclusive and sustainable society, at a local, national and international level.
Co2gether acts as mediator among i) remote areas and the city (6 signed MoUs so far with local municipalities), ii) local authorities, social NGOs (e.g., Red Cross, Care Homes), Community Centres, the Church of Greece, and the citizens, to foster the delivery of additional tailored made social services, in the framework of ongoing initiatives. Co2gether raises awareness to healthy eating habits and educates people to responsible consumption, prevention, and reduction of household food waste through interactive workshops . In addition, the NGO collects data on needs at local level using specially designed and validated questionnaires, enabling valuable insights and strategic development of new actions.
