Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh (CIPRB) started its journey in 2005 with a vision to eliminate injuries from Bangladesh. Later it expanded its research and programs in other areas of health. CIPRB designs interventions, implement programs on a small scale and supports to development of national strategy, and advocates for national level scale-up. CIPRB’s groundbreaking work created far-reaching impacts in saving lives throughout several Asian countries with similar programs. The CIPRB is a Non-profit and Non-Government Organization working in Bangladesh since 2005. The organization bears all legal entities as per government rules and regulation of Bangladesh.  Accordingly it is registered under Bangladesh NGO Affairs Bureau [Reg. No. 2004], Joint Stock Companies [Reg. # S-7781 (971)/08 ], VAT# BIN: 000559727-0101 and NBR with eTIN # 78944223252. 

The organization has extensive experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative research including cross sectional survey, experimental studies, operational research, health system research, and program evaluation for the last 16 years. The field of research includes maternal and newborn health, nutrition, prevention of mortality and morbidity from non-communicable diseases including injuries and health system strengthen. CIPRB has built strong partnership with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Bangladesh to support relevant government institutes in reaching hard to reach and high-risk population groups and other countries as well. It also has become trusted among the international development partners, UN agencies including Global Think Tanks on Health, AusAid and a range of world-renowned universities. Till now, number of solutions innovated by CIRPB is now being recognized as the best practice by WHO and being replicated in other parts of the globe.  Further, CIPRB maintains excellent relations UN agencies and other relevant national and international organizations and experiences in managing large funds from local and international sources. CIPRB is capable to foster a responsive district health system for delivering evidence-based patient centered services under a customized comprehensive district planning, review and local level leadership.
