Bonafrux:

Bonafrux is the company which pioneered the organic Yellow Honeydew Melon production and export and maintains technical partnership with Embrapa (the worldwide well-known Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation). The first concrete result is the project called “Implementation of the Experimental Production of Organic Pineapple and Sapodilla in Irrigated Area in Northeast Brazil”. As a result of this joint work, Embrapa researchers published in the journal “Plant and Soil” the work “Effect of diazotrophic bacterium inoculation and organic fertilization on yield of Champaka pineapple intercropped with irrigated sapota”, as well as published in the “African Journal of Agricultural Research” the work “Identification of culturable endophytes in ‘Champaka’ pineapple grown in an organic system”. Bonafrux is also experienced on producing organic watermelons, squashes and pumpkins, sapodilla and pineapple.

Bonafrux has developed the knowledge, produced and exported organic products. From 2000 to 2005, it produced and commercialized Yellow Honeydew Melons, particularly exported to Europe. One of Bonafrux’s partner was Eosta company, based in the Netherlands. Bonafrux’s melons were also sold in different areas of German bio markets, like Basic Biomarkt. Until present time, no other Brazilian producer has achieved quality levels to produce melons for export as Bonafrux did.

Bonafrux is planning to enter the Aquaculture market, focusing on microalgae and shrimp, always based on sustainable Superintensive Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) with Biofloc Technology (BFT) and 100% water reuse.

Attorney at Law, Flavio Pinto earned his degree in 1989 from the Law School, Federal University of Ceará – UFC. Fluent in English, French and Spanish. Due to his professional activities he maintains business relations with partners and clients in the United States, United Kingdom, Portugal and Israel. Flavio is experienced on projects involving:

2. Foreign Investment Nationalization.
