BARINGO PEACE ADVOCACY

Baringo Peace Advocacy (BAPA)  is a Community Based organization (CBO) committed towards the achievement of promoting Peace Building in the areas affected by Cattle Rustling and Inter ethnic Conflicts, Community Policing,  Violence against Women and Girls Mitigation, Promote Democracy and good Governance and Environmental Conservation. We are based in Baringo County and by extension we  work in five more neighbouring counties namely  Turkana County , Elgeyo Marakwet County, West Pokot County, Laikipia County and Samburu County.

BAPA is registered in Kenya and it has been operational since 2015 engaging with various partners including Government of Kenya, Baringo County Government, World Vision and National Steering Committee (NSE) on Peace Building and Conflict Management. In  2016/2017/2018 we have been implementing Jamii Thabiti programme on Peace Building and Security in Baringo County Funded by UK-AID whereby we have realised positive response through our ; 

We are now looking for partners to support us through calls for proposals in our thematic areas so that we can engage further.
