D.Sc. M.Sc. Phys. Andrei Vasile NASTUTA is the head of the Physics and Biophysics Education Research Laboratory (P&B-EduResLab) that is intended for the education of young researchers in the field of physics and its applications. The main topic approached, but not limited to, is ‘Atmospheric Pressure Cold Plasma Bioengineering’, the directions being underlined: Plasma sources development and diagnosis; Plasmas for surface modification; Investigation of how the reactive species (RONS) are generated, as well as Characterization techniques: surface adhesion & energy, surface roughness, biocompatibility, surface conductivity.
Research interests: plasma sources; plasma diagnosis; plasma - cell interactions; plasma & liquids interactions; plasma & wine; plasma surface modification of polymers; surface characterization; thin films deposition; 3D printing.
