I am an atmospheric scientist with experience in personal exposure to air pollutants, air quality and urban climate. I received a PhD degree in Atmospheric Sciences from Stockholm University (Sweden) and held postdoctoral positions at the University of York and University of Manchester (UK). The focus of my research was on the characterisation of atmospheric composition and the effects of aerosol particles on cloud formation, using in situ data collected on ground and airborne platforms.
Currently, my research focuses on assessing personal exposure to short-lived climate pollutants using data from fixed and mobile platforms, and the effects of long-range atmospheric transport on the air quality of cities.

The open burning of municipal solid waste –frequently observed in developing countries– emits harmful pollutants, including fine particulate matter, black carbon and dioxins.
The project could use a suite of portable and fixed-site measurements to asses the personal exposure of the population living close to dumpsites.

I'm looking for international partners who would like to conduct projects on air pollution and urban climate.
We are in group specialised in urban climate and air pollution, in which we use portable and fixed-site measurements to assess personal exposure to air pollution.
