This project will raise awareness of sustainable food production by introducing young people to environmentally friendly agricultural methods. Students will be taught innovative and ecological agricultural methods using soilless farming (hydroponics, aquaponics etc.) systems. Thus, it will raise awareness of climate change and the protection of natural resources.
Goals:
-To teach students soilless farming techniques
-To increase environmental awareness with sustainable farming practices
-To provide international cooperation and cultural exchange
-To support STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education in schools
-To make contributions to the fight against climate change
Activities:
1. Educational Workshops ( Practical training on soilless farming systems)
2. Experimental Farming Practices (Establishing small-scale hydroponic/aquaponic systems in schools)
3. International Student Exchange (Short-term student and teacher exchanges between partner countries)
4. Digital Sharing and Dissemination (Sharing materials developed during the project online)
5. Sustainability Conferences (Local and international events where students will present their projects)
Expected Results:
Students and teachers will learn new generation farming techniques and adopt environmentally friendly production models.
Soilless farming systems will be established in participating schools and sustainable production will be supported.
Students will work with their peers from different countries will engage in cultural and scientific interaction.
Project outputs will be shared with other schools and educators.
