Starting a research lab

Dear all,
I am looking to start a research lab working at the intersection between dynamical systems, machine learning, and social sciences (sociology, international politics, and security).
I am currently looking for funding opportunities. I saw some Horizon programmes that might apply to my research agenda.
I am looking for advice on applying for grants.
