I am writing to express my interest in participating in the upcoming Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) initiative under the Erasmus+ programme. As a Professor of Economics with an extensive research background in climate change, sustainable energy policy, energy poverty, and labour market transitions, I believe I can contribute valuable expertise to a consortium aiming to establish a comprehensive and future-facing vocational excellence ecosystem.
Currently, I am the principal investigator and/or key expert in several internationally funded projects, including:
These experiences have allowed me to work closely with vocational training providers, policy makers, local governments, and social partners in developing research-informed strategies that integrate skills ecosystems, labour market analytics, and inclusive upskilling approaches.
I am particularly enthusiastic about contributing to the following CoVE action priorities:
I am also highly interested in exploring how VET systems can benefit from the insights generated through data-driven AI policy tools, as developed in AI4Labour, and how energy transition projects can offer fertile ground for innovative vocational pathways and stakeholder engagement.
I would be delighted to collaborate with a consortium seeking expertise in green transition, skills for sustainability, labour and energy economics, and European skills policy integration. I am open to assuming roles related to impact strategy, stakeholder engagement, sustainability planning, and research coordination within the CoVE framework.
Please feel free to reach out should you require additional information regarding my experience or to explore potential collaboration opportunities.
