Specific Objective: SO1.2 – Supporting SMEs' sustainable growth and job creation

Project Idea: ROOTS aims to revitalize rural economies in Kırklareli, Türkiye by strengthening small ruminant farming as a pathway to inclusive agri-entrepreneurship. The project provides a full-cycle support system: 50 animals per beneficiary, shelter infrastructure, 6-month feed and forage input support, professional and public advisory services, and structured trainings by academic institutions. All components are designed for long-term sustainability, contributing to both environmental balance and rural employment.

The project seeks EU-based partners experienced in:

• Livestock innovation

• Rural entrepreneurship and SME acceleration

• Agricultural training or advisory networks

• Digital platforms for agro-monitoring and sustainability tracking

ROOTS is looking for partners to either co-implement field activities or enrich the project's training, monitoring, or technology components. Proposals for synergy-building and replication across similar rural contexts are highly welcome.
