"ReGreen" aims to promote participatory climate activism in small and remote towns through the creation of micro green spaces, or "green islands", co-designed and maintained by citizens, young people, and local associations. By combining urban reforestation, upcycling workshops, and community-based ecological actions, the project empowers local communities to take ownership of their public spaces and contribute to climate resilience. Through transnational exchange, partners will share creative tools and inclusive methodologies for turning neglected spaces into ecological and social hubs, fostering environmental awareness, intergenerational cooperation, and a stronger European sense of belonging.
