AMICOS, the spanish leader of the INC-LEISURE project aims to provide to all participants an experience of participation, training, analysis and reflection on the non-formal inclusive spaces of learning, not only as a solution to a problem of social exclusion of the children’s school community, but also as a way of learning values and transversal competences within the formal school education. The non-formal education is the one received in places of daily life and social relations, such as school playgrounds, parks and sports areas. More specifically, the INC-LEISURE project pursues the following objectives:

 Reduce early school drop-out derived from the social exclusion that affects the groups at risk of exclusion, especially the young people with disabilities, in the non-formal learning spaces.

 Promote equal opportunities for girls and boys through the inclusive leisure activities.

 Improve the knowledge of transversal school subjects and competences (mathematics, history, coresponsibility, initiative, etc.) through educational and participatory activities in the non-formal learning spaces.

 Raise awareness and visibility regarding the importance and richness that diversity brings to the community and the environment.
