The possibilities seem infinite but a proper push in the direction of making this technology a part of the mainstream business venture seems far because the research is still in its adoloscence, when you are trying to upgrade it into a viable part of any Wastewater treatment plant or envisage it as part of every wastewater effluent of industry. This technology has the potential to not only generate electricity but make every industrial plant eco friendly and sustainable in the long term especially low income generating industries who have to put aside excess amount of finances not only for electricity but also to devise a remediation plan for their effluent to keep them in the scope of environmental regulations.
